This is a kinetic headpiece where the flower petals start opening and closing slowly with the press of a button. The speed and start/stop operation is controlled via a phone app. The base of the hat is hand blocked using traditional millinery techniques. The flower petals are sculpted using a specially created mould and are made of resin, gold leaf, and mica pigments.
